The songs on this CD are beautiful. I enjoyed the duets as well as the gospel choir. I had hoped that some day he would record Ave Maria, so my wish came true! I especially loved the song "Thankful."

Purchased this as a 'stocking stuffer' for my wife. We opened it the day it arrived and we have been enjoying it ever since. "I'll Be Home For Christmas" will choke-up anyone. If you have ever been overseas at this time of the year, especially in the military, this song will have a special meaning to you. Be prepared.

Josh Groban brings his incredible voice and originality to the interpreting of 12 classic Christmas songs. These songs are represented well by his voice and bring his own style into the mix so that the songs sound and feel brand-new. There is an additional song on the CD, "Thankful", which is a beautiful, original song by David Foster/Carole Bayer Sager/Richard Page, never recorded before. The DVD is a "mini" video documentary of the making of the CD, which showcases Josh's famous wit. You don't have to be a Josh Groban fan to enjoy this CD, as it is destined to become a classic collection of Christmas songs in its own right. If you aren't already a fan of Josh, you will become one after listening to this beautiful CD.

the choice of songs was perfect and of course Josh has an excellent voice. even the songs in languages i don't know were so moving that i had to go find translations.

His voice is OK but this CD will put to you sleep. He does not have a distinctive sound here and there's nothing special about any of the arrangements.
