As one would expect from both Nelson and the OTL series, this commentary presents the results of a serious engagement with the text and context of Joshua in a lucid, readable, and not-too-lengthy format. Particularly commendable is the careful discussion and presentation of the text-critical issues relevant to the book. A good addition to the library of any scholar or scholastically-inclined pastor.
