About the Author
Biff Baird earns his living as an interpretive planner, freelance writer, and exhibit designer. A father of two, he prefers hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and scuba diving to working.
Judy Rosen began her National Park Service career at Canyon de Chelly National Monument. She has worked as a naturalist and planner in many National Parks and Forests. She raises two sons while working at Rocky Mountain National Park.
Loren Purcell, a second-generation wildlife artist, has been drawing for 20 years. From the time he picked up a crayon at age 6, he has found his voice through art. He and his wife operate their own studio in Henderson, Nevada.
