Since the discovery of Argan oil and the conquest by the beauty industry, there are so many different types of Argan oil products out there.

You could be lost and confused if you don't know all the types of argan oil products out there.

There's argan oil products for Hair only, Skin only, Shampoo, Conditioner, cleanser, etc...

Josie Maran brand works for both Hair and Skin and it is PURE! You can use it all over your body.
A lot of the imitation argan oil products are using the term argan oil for marketing purposes only and doesn't have a lot of the pure argan oil ingredients in their products.

For Example, Agadir and Sally's One and Only are mostly silicone and other nasty chemicals with perhaps 1% argan oil. So I do not recommend these brands. Other brands claim to be pure but it is mostly diluted with other oils to bring the cost down.

Pure argan oil is very expensive and it will work for both Skin and Hair.

That's why I like Josie Maran

Effective facial moisturizer
Helps with Dry hair
High quality
Unscented

Cons:
The dropper may be difficult to use

The only other argan oil I can recommend for its purity and high quality is Pura D'or Pure & Organic Argan Oil 4 fl. oz.. Pura d'or has a pump so it may be easier to use if you prefer that...and it is slightly less expensive because it is a newer Brand.

I love Josie Maran Argan Oil, I had gotten a sample from Sephora. I purchased this because I love the product and had a gift certificate to Amazon.com. When I received it the product was all over the place as if it was opened. There was no product box or anything so I should've suspected something fishy. It doesn't even have the same smell that the product has. I am so disappointed!!!!!!

I love Josie Maran's Argan oil and usually buy it from Sephora. This time I bought it through Amazon and totally regret it. The product came unboxed, label looks a little different from the JM product, and no way am I putting it on my face.
The real deal is great stuff though, just get it from a reputable source.

I'm sorry to say, Aran oil is argon oil. Unless it is something other than 100%, that is. There are other ingredients in tiny amounts in many products that the FDA does not require to be listed because they make up less than a certain percentage, but they do change the formula and can make the argan oil less effective. However, I've tried four different 100% organic argan oils that I believe were actually 100% pure, including this one, and they were exactly the same. I'm not giving this two stars because it's a bad product. Argan oil is fantastic for skin and hair, and it's one of my favorite products. I gave this particular one two stars because the brand is deceiving customers into thinking this oil is somehow better than cheaper ones because it's from a high end brand. This irritates me. Try Mogador certified organic cold pressed argan oil instead. Less than half the price and exactly the same! Don't fall for the hype- the name on the bottle doesn't change what's in it.

Josie Maran Argon oil is my Holy grail cosmetic product BUT the version that is sold by this seller is a FAKE. Verified by authorized seller Sephora and compared to the real product - the product I got delivered was a fake version & gave me an allergic reaction, I verified from Josie Maran website customer service that the packaging and details (fine print) on the bottle of the product I received was counterfeit and not the real product.

I LOVE this product. I got a sample of it at Sephora and didn't use it for some time. I was a bit hesitant to put oil on my often oily skin; it seemed counter-intuitive. It also seemed a bit expensive. But, after reading reviews of the product online and reading about Argan oil's general skin benefits, I gave it a shot and was completely amazed. I can't live without this product now!

You only need a few drops--the product comes with a medicine-dropper applicator--to make your skin soft, smooth and radiant. I put it on every night before I go to bed after washing my face. When I wake up, my skin is more vibrant, looks smoother, and any redness or spots I might have had diminishes significantly. And it doesn't really have a scent, either, which I like; I'm not a fan of perfumed skincare.

I don't have acne prone skin anymore in my mid-twenties, but I am beginning to get some wrinkles. Somehow this oil seems to fill in those wrinkles around my eyes--I notice this when I apply my makeup in the morning after using the oil. Amazing! It's like magic! I've been using this every night for two months and have only used up a third of the bottle, so I can see this lasting 6+ months if used daily. Definitely give this product a try, and you won't be disappointed.

Humm so far so great. I bought this for my hair, but for the price I actually didn't want to like it cause I have a lot of hair and would have to buy this expensive stuff often if it worked. So I decided to try it on my face - and I really like it so far. My skin is terribly dry due to Chicago's winter and this stuff is great and it's also evening out my skin tone. Due to my acne flair ups I was initially afraid of it, but no breakouts so far! I use Moroccan brand Argan oil for my hair, but its not all natural so I wanted to try Josie, I did try it on my hair after all since I loved it on my face, but I didn't like it much for my dry hair, it was still dry. At least my face looks fab!
