Traverse the globe with Josie and the Pussycats on this 95-minute, four-episode video. First it's off to Hawaii in "The Melody Memory Mix-Up" where the gang must help hide an important force field formula from the Hawk. Melody's memory bank becomes the unlikely vessel for the secret formula, and the group finds itself in a multitude of hair-raising experiences. In "The Great Pussycat Chase," Josie and the Pussycats take possession of a mysterious black box in Paris. The group must elude the Shadow, then find an elusive gargoyle to unearth a list of the Shadow's evil agents worldwide. Melody's innocent quest for a pair of authentic purple clogs lands the group a dangerous assignment in "Never Mind a Mastermind." The group's mission: to prevent the Mastermind from stealing an important antigravity device from a geophysical laboratory in Holland. In "Strangemoon over Miami," Josie and the Pussycats desperately try to stop Dr. Strangemoon's plans to launch a series of satellites that will attract fiery comets to Earth.

This is a great video of one of my favorite cartoons of all time Josie and the Pussycats is one of the best rock and roll cartoons ever made and I would recommend anyone who likes Rock and Roll cartoons to buy this video and Josie is the coolest and I think that Valerie one of my favorite cartoon characters and the first black female cartoon character and being one of the most smartest cartoon characters they are!!!! I have both of their cds and it is cool and I would reccommend anyone to buy the cds if you enjoy the music in the cartoons I know that I do that is why I had bought the cd to listen to it I know which song was in each episode and I also have a great JOSIE vintage collection of JOSIE's collectibles and to top this off I have a personally autographed sketch of JOSIE by Dan Decarlo it was given to me by a real close friend for a x-mas present a couple of years ago!!!! If you enjoyed the JOSIE cartoons in the 1970's then you would definitely enjoy this cartoon!!!!

Ok, first of all, what has happened to children's animation today? Besides being laden with an assortment of annoying characters (e.g., "Pokemon") or computer-animated (Beast Wars) cartoons have lost the appeal that they had during the golden age of television animation. In the 1970s, Hanna-Barbara ruled the television airwaves with a series of successful, enjoyable series that featured cool characters and crazy capers, such as "Scooby Doo."

"Josie and the Pussycats" was one of my favorites due to the fact that there was a combination of good music, humor, and adventures . In "Josie and the Pussycats - The Melody Memory Mix-Up" viewers are treated to four classic episodes from this series that was based on the popular Archies Comics charcaters. Featuring all the characters that made the series a hit: Josie, Valerie, Melody, Alan, Alexander, and my two favorite characters Alexandra and Sebastian the cat, this tape is a pleasant trip down memory lane. For those who saw the recent live action film based on the series (which was good) I recommend you view the original series to get an idea of how the characters were portrayed in the comic strip compared to the big screen (story was based on a spoof of modern-day boy bands and commercialism). For new fans who were not alive or to young to remember the series during the 1970s, this videocassette compilation will help you get acquainted with a classic cartoon series.

Make sure to get both Josie videocassettes available on Amazon. They are truly worth every cent, especially for a Gen Xer like myself!

This is agreat selection of the hit T.V show Josie And the Pussycats. it includes four episodes from the series. I think any Archie Comics fan will enjoy it.
