This is a WONDERFUL aide in the healing and journey of grief. Weather it is a recent loss or one that was 20 years ago, it address all issues, of the grief process, great to know I am not alone and the feelings I experiance are normal! Absolutly wonderful! A healing read!

A good workbook and reading/reflection book on grief.It fits the subtitle "transcending grieving." I use it with other mother's who have lost children, but it appeals to all kinds of grief issues. There are opportunities to just pick the book up and let it open to a page for inspiration, workpages and activities for thoughtful reflection, and passages of people's stories to aid in the reader's own journey. It comes with a concentration on growth instead of loss through the process of death. One reading this understands they are not alone on this road through the thoughtful anecdotes related on these pages.
When I received mine, the binding was broken on the contents and one of the later pages of the book. The message of the book is intact even if the pages are not.

If your dealing with grief this is a good book to read. As always Sylvia's humor livens up her books and all of her books are great! This one lets you know that what you are feeling is okay and don't judge yourself what you are feeling when you ride the dark horse of grief. Both her and her daughter in law have alot to offer when dealing with the loss of someone you love. Mine was my son Jon.

THIS BOOK GAVE ME COMFORT THAT I COULD NOT FIND ANYWHERE ELSE. IT GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO BOND WITH THE WRITERS AND THEIR EXPERIENCES WHICH WERE HUMAN, HONEST AND REALISTIC. I LOVE THAT IT GIVES ME PERSONAL WRITING SPACE TO ADD MY OWN FEELINGS AND EXERIENCES MAKING THIS A PERSONAL AND SHARED HEALING EXPERIENCE. WONDERFUL! ALSO A PERFECT GIFT OF LOVE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED LOSS RECENTLY OR YEARS AGO.

I lost my mother last year and this book helped me through those raw, early months. After I re-emerged from my fog I realized that I'd created a great gift for my children; a journal of my feelings and experiences at the loss of my mother. I would hope that when they pass through this door at my own demise my words will offer them comfort. I can only wish I could have had such a journal that my mother might have written when her mother died.

Never think your own words are unimportant. They are more powerful than you think!

I love this book. I read it in one day and it was great. I lost my mother less then 3 weeks ago and this book is helping me through the process. I have ordered off of here more of Sylvia Browne books to keep reading! Get the book you will love it =)

I love this book, it made me cry and laugh. I understand the feelings I have beeen going through for the past 3 years.
Sylvia and Nancy are a good writing team. I will keep this book close and find comfort in it when needed.

I always keep at least one new copy of this wonderful book in my home to give to family and friends who have recently lost a loved one. Sylvia has that rare ability to provide personal spiritual healing in the form of beautiful writings to those in need, and suggests so many effective ways to uplift and sooth the empty and grieving soul. She never ceases to amaze me with her soul-strengthening words of encouragement, and the personal love she weaves into each word of every book she joyously gifts her fellow human beings with so very often.

It's a good book. Has a lot of interesting points. If you are really suffering from a loss of a loved one and need some direction, then this is the book for you. It helps you explore yourself on a deeper level and guides you in the process of healing after the loss of a loved one.
