About the Author
Michael Lee (Michael Higdon) is a senior studying language arts and social sciences. Entranced with the ideas of personality and ego, he wrote Journal of a Mental Patient as well as essays and articles for his underground newspaper. These writings discuss such issues as egoism/objectivism (inspired by Ayn Rand), the plight of society as caused by technology, hope for the future that lies in the enlightened individual, why TV is the devil, and other such bullocks. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael lives a most interesting life as he constantly seeks all of life's experiences. Before the age of eighteen, he traveled the entire country and had almost unlimited freedom; he uses these experiences to enrich his writing.
