By OOSA Online Book Club "O.O.S.A. Gets It Read!" (World Wide Web, USA) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE)
This review is from: Journaling Through the Land Mines (Paperback)
"Journaling through the LAND MINES" is the companion journal to the novel LAND MINES by Sheilah Vance.
In LAND MINES were introduced to the main character Carolyn James. After eleven years of marriage her husband left her for another woman. So to help her cope with the loss of her marriage and her divorce she decided to keep a journal, where she laid naked and bared her soul, her inner most thoughts and quotes along with scriptures. Readers can use "Journaling through the LAND MINES" as a way to work through their own separation or divorce. The journal includes 77 questions and prompts to write about and many inspirational quotes. For example, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."-Dr. Seuss I believe that "Journaling through the LAND MINES" would make for an excellent journal for those that are going through a divorce. It would serve as a way to balance out the emotions and hurt that some may be experiencing. This could prove to be very therapeutic! Reviewed by: LeonaR |
