This book was a little hard to get into at first but the more I read,the more I didn't want it to end.Being a sailor myself,I can really identify with his sense of adventure.But...even the non-nautical types will find this to be a piece of work they will enjoy.I can honestly recommend this book to those who like messing about on the water.

This book is absolutely fantastic; prose so lyrical it is almost poetry. For anyone who loves tales of the sea or sailing, or just great writing, this is a rare treasure.
