About the Author

Natasha Rizopoulos teaches at Yoga Works in Santa Monica, CA, and is a graduate of its teacher training and advanced teacher training programs. She has also studied with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India. She teaches at various Yoga Journal conferences and appeared in Yoga—a notable black-and-white photography book featuring the country’s top yoga teachers. She has extensive acting experience, performing with the 42nd Street Collective in New York and with Shakespeare & Company in the Berkshires. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and holds a degree in history and literature.

I needed to get back into yoga but at home. So I bought Yoga Journal's Home Practice System over a year ago and it has been great. Because of its practice sessions on 3 different DVDs, I can follow a 20 minute sun salute or focus on 40 minutes of asanas. Natasha's guidance is so inviting that my husband now does yoga with me in our living room (he likes to follow along with the flash cards of asanas).
