Take a walk through the wilderness, take a walk through your on spiritual journey. Mr. Joyner is blessed to help us open our spiritual eyes to the layers of truth in the scripture. A must read for those starting their spiritual walk, or after many years. You will be awakend, or woke up, which ever you spirit needs. Read and allow the Lord to open your heart. In any book we have to descern the truth and let God speak to us. Thank you Mr. Joyner for being a light in this dark world.

This review is from: The Journey Begins (Divine Destiny) (Paperback)
Ever wonder what it would have been like at the tower of Babel when God confused men's languages. Seems to me all of the hubbub and confusion would be similar to all of the rhetoric spamming the airwaves today concerning Christianity. Where does one find truth among all the contradictory voices? I suggest a place you might start if you are having the same problem I am is with this book. Rick talks about the divisions and the doctrinal differences and the attitudes that result from them. He quietly and humbly states his case without fanfare. His explanation of the promised land, wilderness, and Egypt is worth the read itself. He then takes you on a journey to unravel nuggets of truth. There are so many pithy statements in this little tome that I found myself constantly wanting to copy and paste sentences and whole paragraphs to quote in articles I write for Examiner.com. This one snuck up on me. I didn't expect it to have so much impact. I highly recommend you examine this with an open mind and consider the points he makes carefully. One point I must mention is his admonition to read the Bible not to reinforce your own preconceptions and presumptions but rather to seek correction in your theology.
