Julie Fuimano, a professional coach, speaker, and writer, has spent her life searching for answers to these questions, and The Journey Called YOU: A Roadmap to Self-Discovery and Acceptance is the culmination of this pursuit for personal truth. "Since my teen years," she says, "I've been on a quest for self-discovery, and what I've learned is that the answers to life's riddles cannot be found through the eyes of another but rather through exploration within." Fuimano goes on to explain that she wrote this book to teach others what she has learned and to empower people to live their lives feeling better about who they are.
The book teaches readers how to access their personal power to create the happiness and fulfillment they seek and deserve. Its theme, "know yourself, accept what is, and honor yourself," focuses on the essence of a person; it emphasizes the "who" of a person rather than the "what." The Journey Called YOU explains how to conduct the self-exploration process. In the end, readers will feel more confident in themselves; they will trust the choices they are making and their ability to create a life they feel good about living.
Fuimano admits that this isn't always easy. No one has all the answers to life's questions, and those that seem to work for one person may not work for someone else. "When I realized that I wouldn't be able to get the answers from outside of me," she says, "I knew I needed to find a way to accept myself as I am and to treat myself with greater respect and compassion. After all, life is a gift and it's up to me to figure out what I was meant to do with that gift."
She hopes this "life instruction manual" will help make the journey easier for readers. To that end, the author has included revealing journaling exercises, inspirational anecdotes, and educational coaching tips.
"We must live our lives as if we are the most important people in it," says Fuimano. "If we honor this, our experience here on earth will be richer than we ever imagined possible."

Well known author Maya Angelou once said, "when you know better you do better." After reading The Journey Called You, I am certainly doing alot of things much better. If you're searching for the key to living with more passion and finally defining meaningful career & personal goals then this is the book for you. Most self-help books make unrealistic promises. However, The Journey Called You delivers by offering practical advise that can be implemented immediately. Highly recommended for those serious about taking their self awareness to the next level.
