My daughter started to collect the journey girl set and recently purchased Jordanna, a special edition for 2013 Christmas. She is certainly worth the extra cost, as she is quickly becoming a hard to find collectible; but also has a very intricate dress and accessories. She has a beautiful alabaster colored face with hazel eyes which remain open, sweet little bow mouth. Her hair is somewhat less full than the other journey girls; but plentiful with individual two tone blond/brown roots and a faux rhinestone rose hair ornament that matches her purse. She also has a little rhinestone necklace. These dolls are particularly well made; better actually than some of the more expensive competitive dolls. Journey girls do not seem to have the problems with the loose limbs and necks of some of the other partial plastic soft bodied dolls. She bends at the shoulders and hips. The gown is a taffeta look, lightweight midnight blue with a fitted bodice and tons of individual rosettes around the floor length skirt. The entire line of dolls come with nice leather look shoes. There is also a line of separately sold accessories so the dolls can have many experiences with your little girl.
