16 songs in total. There is no such thing as a "bad" Journey tune, so it wouldn't have mattered what songs they chose to transcribe. However the 16 tunes they did select are probably Journey's biggest radio hits. Nothing wrong with that, but for a band with such an amazing discography it's too bad they did not include some more songs. I would have loved to see Just the Same Way and I'll Be Alright Without You included in the book.

The book gets five stars because it's very well done. The anthology series of tab books are hit and miss in terms of quality, but this one is very good. The transcribers are Dale Turner and Colgan Bryan. I have seen their name attached to other guitar tab books and they are of equal high quality; they are very accurate transcribers. I have transcribed a couple of Journey tunes myself, and after buying this book was surprised and happy to learn that my transcriptions mirrored those in the book.

Well worth the money if you're a Journey fan and don't want to take the time to learn the songs on your own.

I've been a big fan of Neal Schon's guitar prowess and Journey's AOR radio-friendly rock for many years. As a guitarist, I love Neal's soaring, fluid, effortless yet powerful style. He is a true guitar hero, sometimes overshadowed by the pop leanings and power ballads of his band. If you're looking to explore the guitar techniques and absorb the well-crafted chords of some of Journey's biggest hits, this is a great book. Like all of the Guitar Anthology Series books I have seen, this is acurate tab with clear layout in an easily read format.

This is a great tab book, but.............it's missing two of my favorite Journey songs: Ask The Lonely and I'll be Alright Without You.

I am very happy with the purchase of this book. I am a big fan of Journey and always have loved the guitar genius of Neal Schon. The tab is extremely accurate and has unlocked every blazing fast note of Neal's guitar solos.
