Book Description

JOURNEY TO HART'S HALO is a near-future fantasy adventure, set in 2033 on the world's first international space colony.

The project of eccentric technology billionaire Dr. Oliver Hart, Hart’s Halo is about to be populated by Zero Colony. Space-crazy twelve year old Davey Randolph’s dream is to win two of the twelve spots, for him and his mom, in a global lottery to spend five years aboard the Halo.

Constructed as a puzzle-propelled mystery, Davey needs the help of an international cast of clever and quirky pre-teens, and to conquer his own feelings of being an outsider, to solve the puzzles that will lead to a shocking discovery about the true fate of his missing father.

With new quantum physics from The Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, futuristic technology, and space travel and habitation, it is a modern myth of epic scale.

The HART'S HALO series of books will have kids (of all ages) dreaming of winning their own place on the Hart's Halo space station.

Journey to Hart's Halo

These days it's not very often that I pick up a science fiction book but having experienced Journey to Hart's Halo, I am once again reminded of how delightful it is to dive into another world and lose myself in the wonder of it, with the voices, the visions, the drama! Looking forward to V2.0.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks like a movie October 8, 2012

Just finished reading Hart's Halo. It would make a great movie or TV series. Loved the science history lesson in chapter 20,Einstein's Enigma, the big ToE and the riddles. The speed at which technology is evolving, I can see this happening in the given time frame. Pick it up. Read it. You will love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Read - couldn't put it down June 3, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I got this book for my pre-teens to read but couldn't put it down. To label it sci-fi/fantasy is to limit it in a way it doesn't deserve. The story is much bigger than that and the main characters are very real and relatable. It's a great mystery adventure. It was the kind of book you are sad to come to the end of. I can hardly wait for the next one to come out!
