Carol Raikes grew up in Southern California. She is married and has five children, three of which are grown, and Misha and Ilia. She currently lives in Tucson, AZ with her husband, menagerie of animals, and the two boys. She enjoys writing for children, and is presently planning her next book.
J.W. Raikes has many talents. He paints, sculpts, plays guitar, illustrates, and has many other interests he pursues in his free time. He lives in Tucson, AZ with his dog, Jasmine.
