A true artist in every sense of the phrase., January 11, 2002

This review is from: Journey Home (Audio CD)
This beautiful lady's soulful voice comes into one's heart, heads right to the spot that hurts and heals it ever so gently. Then she nestles a longing in that spot, so that we are remindful of all our relations, and what has been suffered. A beautiful woman, inside and out, it is very obvious that she has felt the sadness her people have suffered and one just simply understands that she will never forget, even in these modern times. I sense strongly that this lady is a prideful keeper of old ways.

This is one of the best CD's I have listened to in a long time. Her words touch the soul. She has a sound about her that is very mystical and magical. Buy it for everyone you know.

One of the best Native American artists..., May 15, 2006
This review is from: Journey Home (Audio CD)
This is easily one of the best Native American albums I have heard.
It's a mix of country, folk and indian music and the best out of 3 CDs Mishi Donovan released.
I think you won't be dissapointed if you buy this CD, Mishi has a beautiful voice and her music is very deep and heart-moving. I really hope she will release another album. It's been many years from the last one...
