Forgiveness December 12, 2003

The Journey of Hope...From Violence to Healing is a must read book. It teaches love and compassion for all humankind. Bill Pelke takes you on His own Journey of Hope, and shows you how he over came violence through the healing power of forgiveness. As you read this wonderful book you can see that Bill speaks from the heart and his words are pure. Bill shows us in this book that there is a better way to live and that Love and Compassion does heal.

Or How to Make a Buck off of Grandmother's Brutal Murder December 15, 2006

Mr Pelke's grandmother was the bible teacher for the girls that murdered her, and used this relationship as a pretext to enter her home. While stabbing her elderly victim repeatedly with a butcher knife, her killer, 15-year-old Paula Cooper tried to pin her to the floor, shoving the knife through her body, removing it, and shoving it in again as the old lady prayed the Lord's Prayer.

Mr Pelke couldn't make a dime going around the country trying to promote the death penalty. But he's making a good living for himself as an opponent on the supposed revelation that his grandmother wouldn't have wanted the girls put to death--as though she wouldn't have known that that decision isn't in her hands, but God's.

I can say one thing for Mr Pelke. He'll never see his sainted grandmother in this life again, and it's very unlikely he'll see her in the next.
