NOT your average sound..., December 12, 2003

I actually just got my jacob's road cd, and I couldn't be more blown away. It's like Johnatha Brooke with a heavier guitar vibe. If you like Sarah Maclachlan, Tori Amos, Natalie Merchant...but you always wished their songs would punch you a little harder? This record DOES that. It's exciting to hear such a fresh sound coming out of Christian music. And just when you think you've figured out the cd, boom--there's something unexpected hitting you in the face again. My kids love it, I love it--there's something for everyone. There isn't a song I skip over. GET THIS CD! You won't be disappointed.
