Editorial Reviews

Aspyr The Journey - DVD
After college, Eric Saperstonbought a 1971 Volkswagen Bus, took his Golden Retriever Jack and set out to follow the Grateful Dead and work a ski season in Aspen. While on the road, he called up some of the most popular people inthe world and asked them out for a cup of coffee.
Short Description:
What started out as a personal journey to find the answers to life's biggest questions (Why am I here? How can I find happiness? What is success?) quickly turned into something bigger than he ever imagined.
As the journeyunfolded, it attracted attention of three others:Dave Murcott, Paige O'Brien and Kathleen Kelly. They too felt disconnected and were searching for purpose and meaning in their lives. So they quit their jobs, risked it all and jumped in the bus. Thefour of them and their dog Jack would soon discover they were no longer taking this trip. The trip was taking them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Inspirational, October 31, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Journey (DVD)
I finally had the opportunity to watch this movie after several attempts by friends who had seen it at their college campus. I didn't understand what the hype was about until I sat down and watched the film. Talk about a movie that speaks to each and every individual who watches it. Truly incredible. I wish I would have seen this movie 10 years ago as the knowledge and wisdom that I walked away with was very inspirational. The concept of the film is simple but what you take away from it is truly the grand prize. The slew of people that he got the opportunity to interview was staggering and their willingness to open up and offer their views of success and finding happiness in life, was encouraging. Do yourself a favor...buy this film and share it with those you love. It's the little things in life that keeps you strong.

4.0 out of 5 stars Screening, October 30, 2003
By
This review is from: The Journey (DVD)
I saw a screening of this movie in Manhattan I believe 2 years ago - roughly October 2001. It was a very unexpected ride through their journey meeting with Henry Winkler(I won't say too much else)a few barriers and alot of interesting steps along their way. This movie is definitley worth picking up and watching with a few friends. Everyone will get something out of this film.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really makes you think. Really makes you thankful., October 30, 2003

This review is from: The Journey (DVD)
What a treat. I haven't seen many films in my life that make you feel empowered. The Journey causes you to look in the mirror and say "What am I doing and where am I going?" I only wish I could have seen it earlier in my life, but as I came to see - the rest of my life begins with my next step. The special features are great and the menu interface really rivals some of the best ones I have ever seen. No matter who or where you are, you will truly enjoy The Journey.
