When I first saw this album here on Amazon...well I only can say it was seriously "love at first sight." Cheesy as that may sound, it was true. I had never seen an album like this one anywhere else before. This was something I looked at and knew it was exactly what I was looking for for holding my most treasured pictures.

I received this album as a gift for Christmas and it was still just as beautiful looking physically in my hands, as the picture of it displayed here. The album itself isn't much bigger than the 4x6 pages it carries inside. The leather is beautiful, the pages inside are all tightly bond and secured, and it's rope/cord can be easily wrapped around the album and tied back together to keep your pictures safe and secure.

I strongly recommend getting this photo album. Even if your not as much of a shutter bug as I, or happen to have more than just 100 pictures you would like to put inside it. It makes for a great gift for anyone for really any occasion...seriously I'm sure there is someone you know who has pictures stored in boxes, or stores them away in there hard drive. Give them the excuse to go through those pictures and pick out there favorites to put in it!

I was looking for a really rustic looking photo album to send to my mother, and this thing really fit the bill. The leather strap is the only closure method. They used nice thick leather for the binding. Perfect item to send pics of mom's trip to visit me in Texas.

This photo album is unlike any of the others I have. It has real rustic character. I think I'll put my Yellowstone vacation pictures in it.

It's made of leather and has a wrap-around strap to secure it. It stays closed on its own, so it doesn't really need it, but it's a nice touch.

It fits 100 pictures (4x6), one per page. I like that it stays open flat on the table.

It seems durable and high quality, and I like it.

I bought this as a Valentine's Day gift for my girlfriend. She wanted a more compact-sized photo album and this looked like it would have more unique character rather than the typical generic ones.

The album is what it says it is - it smells strongly of leather, and with the strap on the front this seems like a very cool journal-looking travel-type photo album. It sells itself as being "rustic" but it is at the same time to me artistic-looking. It also has a good vibe/feel to it, which I think is important for storing our visual snapshots of memories and good times.

It is compact - the example photo below the main one with the person's hand holding the album is perhaps the most useful to see the proper size of it. But with the leather it is easy to grip and easy to carry, and because of the compact size I'm sure would fit in most purses and easily in backpacks or other bags.

Bottom-line: I was a tad hesitant initially because it seemed a little pricey for a photo album of its size, but after receiving it I am very pleased with it and my purchase. I would say it is well-worth the cost, since you're getting as advertised: a solid, nice-looking, nice-feeling leather product. Great unique album for adding good memories to.

Great old leather look, great idea, and stores photos very well. Got it as a gift for someone and the recipient loved it. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that some sleeves were some properly hemmed. There were probably a total of 3 sleeves that did this, so it wasn't a big deal.

Was searching for a small photo album and this fit the bill perfectly. It was a little pricey, but it is made with high quality leather that is very soft to touch. I did get a scratch on the leather, but just makes it look even more rustic so I didn't mind too much.

I bought this album to hold photos from my trip to Costa Rica. The leather is of good quality, but scratches easily. I kept this album in my backpack on a trip to visit my family over the holidays and there are some surface scratches on the leather from this...perhaps that adds to the "rustic" appearance of the album. I also wish the interior pages were black or brown instead of white. I think that would give it a cleaner look, but that's a personal preference. Overall, a quality product with excellent binding. A bit pricey, but I'm glad it's going towards an American made product, I think (the imprint on the back is difficult to read).

This is a nice album. This leather is not great in so much as it shows scatches with the least provocation, but for $36 you can't expect miracles. Having said that, it is pricier than the usual plastic and vinyl stuff.

As other reviewers have done, I filled this with photos for my parents. The 100 photo capacity is ideal. The leather cover adds a nice touch and classes it up a bit as a gift.

For my own personal needs, I would not use this album.

Turned out to be perfect, but overpriced for size (it holds one picture per page so is just slightly larger than 4x6)
