Seyedeh Dr. Nahid Angha, one of the most influential Sufi Masters of our time, has made significant contributions to the world of Sufism through her humanitarian work and publications. This book takes us through the spiritual journey with the beauty of an artist and the logic of a scientist, blending the academic and spiritual genres to create a guide for the mystic within all of us. This book is one I come back to again and again to help me on the Sufi path. It explains many aspects of "the straight way" of the Sufi, including the role of the teacher for the student on the path. A beautiful book, including some of her own translations of Sufi poetry, by the foremost Sufi holy woman in America.
