Mrs. Carroll's book is excellent. She has an obvious passion for the Bible, and for truth. Her personal experiences mixed with meticulous research (and backup) make Journey from Mormonism a better-than-average critique on mormonism, a religion whose leaders and members try their hardest to present themselves to the world as a Christian denomination, yet whose doctrines are as far from the Bible "as the East is from the West." Examples: Mormons believe in a plurality of gods, and that men can evolve into gods - Brigham Young taught that Adam is God, and is also Michael the angel. - Mormonism does not belive in the Biblical Heaven and Hell, but in a five tiered heaven where folks will be placed in accordance with the good works they have performed on Earth. - They believe Jesus' death was not the atoning act of grace the Bible teaches, but that we must work our way to heaven. This book is filled to the brim with quotations, footnotes, and even a section with photocopies providing the reader with a rich resource for study. I highly recommend this book.

The author has done an excellant job of documentation. I found her book to be revealing and informative. I recommend it as a must read for anyone wanting to know more about Mormonism. There is material in the book, you won't find in a general search. Highly recommended!
