I loved this album as a child and am so excited to see it is on CD. This material is fun for the kids but not so innane as to bore adults. This is the wittiest and funniest album you will ever listen to. Extremely creative and entertaining. I remember the songs 28 years later and so do my best friends. The ridiculous rhymes and sound effects will stay with you.

The hapless Glups and their pet cow head out to San Fransisco and encounter a goofy cast of characters. Extremely funny! I am ordering several copies and will give these to some of my oldest friends on their respective birthdays as our orginal record albums are scratched. Timeless family entertainment.

Every time I listen to this CD, I laugh and laugh. "I want breakfast" has become a byword at our house. THe genius of jim copp and ed brown just never ceases to amaze. I'll be buying more of their stuff!

I had a vinyl record of the Glups Voyage to San Francisco as a child and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, the record was lost over the years until I found the same version on CD. It brought back such fun memories listening to the CD. Any child with a love of stories will enjoy this CD. I will order copies of it for my nieces and nephews as they grow older. The humor is a bit warped, but that is what makes it hilarious.

I had this CD on vinyl as a child and had such good memories of listening to it. I just had to buy it for my niece & nephew. I had no idea it was still available and had looked for it for years, to no avail. It is a somewhat eccentric little story; I know some children won't know what to think of it!

My brothers and I spent many hours listening to Cobb/Brown records. I still have most of them, and have even been caught listening to them. These are wonderful stories for children and fun for adults too. And this particuliar cd is a game, which I remember playing with my older brother and some friends. If you want to have good entertainment for you children and yourselves, this is the one cd to buy.

"...and what do you think of that; we've never been there before and we don't even know where it's at!" So goes one of the many memorable and wacky tunes from this album that I devoured as a child.

It's filled with great characters like the evil teacher Miss Goggins, The Man in the Union Suit (toot! toot!), Feeble Phoebe, etc. If you have young kids, I think they'd like it as much as I did. I haven't listened to this in nearly 40 years, but I remember it with extreme fondness. They also made other albums (a line from one of them that strikes me still is "...and a fried egg hung from the ceiling...") but this is my favorite. The whole family will enjoy the journey from Kennebunkport Maine to San Francisco with the Glups.

We loved this in highschool- it really is designed for kids and stoned adults. But the audio quality is very poor, hard to make out what is being said. It may have been a problem with the original mics, or when it was transferred from vinyl to CD.

All of the reviews seem to say the same thing! I had a vinyl copy of the Glups as a child and it somehow disappeared over the years. I was unable to locate it anywhere, and none of my friends had ever heard of it. I LOVED it as a child.

My brother found it on Amazon a couple of years ago, and I have already bought several copies for my nieces/nephews as well as for children of friends.

The humor IS warped which is probably why I have always been so fascinated with the Glups. I would recommend it to anyone with a strange sense of humor. It is a delight.

I bought three copies last Christmas and gave one to my sister, one to my brother, and kept one for my kids. We all howled with laughter remembering this wonderful story. Copp and Brown are masterful. I can't tell you how shocked my siblings were to find their old favorite had been re-released on CD. A big improvement in sound quality. This CD is a priceless remembrance!
