This review is from: Journey to the Soul: Kabbalah's Pathway for Your Present and Future (Paperback)
Kabballah. The name alone brings up thoughts of movie and TV stars wearing red string bracelets, swilling $50 buck a bottle water and wearing backward Hebrew words on their person. That...is NOT Kabballah.
What Rabbi Jonathan Case writes, in his "Journey To The Soul", IS. Using personal reflections, stories from his pastoral life and from the Zohar itself, the book brings the "how" of meaning in one's life that self help best sellers can't compete with. Being awed by a rainbow, the loving laughter from calling someone you thought was angry at you (and getting the nerve to make that call), the questioning of your true purpose in life. The small things, in Rabbi Case's opinion, is what makes you, you and therefore, special in all eyes.
To relish those little things and find meaning in your life in what is all around you. "Journey to the Soul" is easy to read, with clear explanations and examples. I found quite a bit to learn and to do in my own "house", and readers will as well.
