Highly recommended to give to people who have had a loss and are having difficulty. We used this book recently with a support group of parents who had had children in their early twenties die and were having little support by those around them. Dr. Wolfeldt has expressed feelings in an excellent way. Note the last paragraph on page 119, did this really hit home with the support group! If you have had a difficult loss or are leading a support group, I would highly recommend that you purchase and read this great book.

I was given this book when my daughter died in 2001. At that time I purchased copies for my surviving daughters and donated several copies to our local grief counseling group. This recent purchase was for a friend whose husband had died. This book was my lifeline during my grief journey. Whatever I was feeling on a certain day, the wisdom and guidance of this book was comforting. I would recommend it to anyone who is on this journey.

Twelve years ago a drunk driver t-boned a car I was driving, my husband, mother, and coworker were killed. I lived in NC the Crash happened in FL. A lady from MADD was our FL representative in all court hearings. She was constantly on the phone keeping us up to date on what was happening.
This lady gave me the Journey through Grief book, I have had it with me for these past twelve years and have read it over and over. Needless to say I found it comforting and a great help.
Since I have found this book 'reasonably priced' at Amazon I have purchased it for others who have experienced the same fate as I had.
I am now a MADD lady in NC.

This book was introduced to me in a grief support group. I have ordered several to pass on the others who are dealing with loss.
