Not much about fishing...
This book has many nice pictures of the Sierras; however, there is very little information about fishing. Reading the description for the title leads one to believe that this is a book about fishing along the John Muir Trail. There are some trail descriptions for the area; however, most of the descriptions say nothing about the fishing opportunities along the trail. If...

This book has many nice pictures of the Sierras; however, there is very little information about fishing. Reading the description for the title leads one to believe that this is a book about fishing along the John Muir Trail. There are some trail descriptions for the area; however, most of the descriptions say nothing about the fishing opportunities along the trail. If you are looking for books on fishing the Sierras then take a look at the Sierra Trout Guide by Ralph Cutter. I gave this book two stars because it had some really nice pictures of places that I have visited in the sierras.

This book and photographic essay are a must read for the serious sportsman. Enjoy it and then discover the beauty of the John Muir trail for yourself.
