Come along for the Journey, May 18, 2007

Quite possibly the best melodic release that I have ever heard.I would have to rank it up there with World Upside Down (House of Lords),Lipservice(Gotthard),and My Religion(TNT). Not a bad song to be found from start to finish.The 80's have not died,they have just relocated to other countries,which is too bad,because these bands are desperately needed here in the states!Buy it,you'll be glad that you did!

2002's The Journey Will Never End is the fifth studio album from German melodic hard rock band Jaded Heart. Featuring vocalist Michael Bormann, Jaded Heart quickly established themselves as one of Germany's best melodic rock bands, and this album demonstrates why.
The Journey Will Never End is a very strong melodic rock album, and is one of Jaded Heart's best releases with Michael Bormann on vocals. It's very melodic, yet packs a punch (though not as much as the band's more recent work). It's polished, refined and very classy, and the musicianship and vocal performance are all first rate. Aside from a couple of short throwaway tracks and the rap-style verses of "We'll Drag You Down," The Journey Will Never End has eleven very impressive melodic rock songs. My favorites are "On the Rise," the title track and "Dangerous Destiny," but there's not much about this album I don't like. They even manage to take the Backstreet Boys song "Larger Than Life" and make it rock hard!
If you're already a Jaded Heart fan, of course you'll want to own The Journey Will Never End. It also makes a great starting point if you're unfamiliar with the band. I'd absolutely recommend Jaded Heart to fans of melodic hard rock in general, and bands like Pink Cream 69, Bonfire and Casanova in particular.
