In this book, Sister Kathryn Hermes richly and eloquently aids readers in finding prayer as a means to dealing with the hectic nature of today's modern life. Too often, we find ourselves distracted and removed from relationship with God. With clarity and purpose, the book offers three 'movements' for restoring and healing through prayer. The book's 'Breaking Open Your Life' activities offer a terrific opportunity for introspection and growth. I enjoyed my journey through this book to a deeper prayer relationship with God.

This is a valuable book for people wanting to move further in prayer and spiritual growth.
It is well written and easy to use.
The exercises could be of great use in finding oneself in the process of spiritual maturation.
Definitely some suggestions here for the use of spiritual directors.

This book is a book to be prayed through, a little bit at a time. Each chapter has a theme, options for prayer, and activites to help one pray.
