5.0 out of 5 stars journey for three, July 5, 2002
This review is from: JOURNEY FOR THREE (Hardcover)
Alison Cairn has led a desperately interesting life. Her parents wandered the world with a group of devout impractical Christian Missionaries, most of whom died along their travels. The survivors returned to the USA and cannot find a place to send elevan year old Alison or the two boys she has raised. In a last hope for a home for the three of them, they are dropped off on her father's cousin. An extremely grumpy hermit bachelor. Alison's battle to keep her 'family' together is a page turner and deeply moving. It will make you laugh and cry. As Alison's father told her. "With God, anything is possible."
