Cheap -- that's how the costume looks, and how you'll look wearing it!
The dress fabric is not velvet, but pink felt with a sheen. The underskirt is made of paper. The hat and the dress are two different fabrics in very different shades of pink. The shoe covers are completely unusable.
The costume is advertised to fit size 8-12. I'm 5'4" and a size 8. The costume was very tight and barely covered my backside. I had to wear a petticoat underneath to make sure I wouldn't be arrested for indecent exposure during the neighborhood Christmas parade! The seams split when I threw candy to the kids.
Overall, this costume is designed to fit very petite women, with a quality level you'd expect from a $25 costume.
