5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazing Book by a True Leader, October 13, 2004
This review is from: The Joy of Adulthood: A Crash Course in Designing the Life You Want (Paperback)
If you think you are buying a typical "self-help" book, you are not. Sultenfuss's work is well known in certain privileged circles: and after many years of healing on an individual basis, she has opened the door to living a powerful life to everyone. By creating a conscious adult, I have designed the life I want. I now own a successful small business, take frequent vacations, and am delightfully married to my ideal.

If you are struggling with how to get the love, the abundance---all the good stuff---out of life, get this book. You will be given the transforming tools you need to design that seemingly elusive life you want.

5.0 out of 5 stars The family car, July 9, 2005
This review is from: The Joy of Adulthood: A Crash Course in Designing the Life You Want (Paperback)
I am writing to give thanks for The Joy of Adulthood by Sylvia
Sultenfuss. I got into a lot of trouble in my life because I had a very
active adolescent and a very needy child who were operating without
supervision from a responsible adult. Sylvia has helped me make those
distinctions, so now I drive through my life with child and adolescent
right there with me, but my adult is holding the wheel. I listen
carefully to what they have to say to me and appreciate their insights -
but I don't hand them the keys to the car!

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprising, November 27, 2004
This review is from: The Joy of Adulthood: A Crash Course in Designing the Life You Want (Paperback)
I wondered when I saw this title whether it would be a simple "wax me up and make me feel good" book. All the different modalities that I have studied are somehow enveloped in this small and easy-read book. The archetypes of the human process speak clearly and easily, making the choice to live consciously obvious. I can pick any place in this book and get a quick read on something that brings clarity and insight into my own life.
