Not bad for the over-50 crowd,

The type could have been bigger! But I like to give books like this to boomer friends and enemies for their birthdays. For people 50 and under, I'd also recommend giving a book called "Getting Old Sucks." The author will sign it for free.

Not truly a "book". I have been handed brochures that were thicker. My fault for not reading the entire description. It is okay, but not all that funny and again, really tiny.

Hilarious for all of us over 50. Highly recommended to tickle you funny bone. Get a copy for all of your friend to enjoy. There is something for everyone. The illustrations are very true to life. "Been there, done that" Keeps you smiling about all the foibles of getting older. Laughing is much better that grumbling about aches and pains.

I don't plan to be like this at 50, and neither is Roz Chast, now; but I think baby boomers can find much to laugh at in this little book. A very athletic guy I know who turned 50 and is nothing like these little oldladies, found the wit and wisdom quite appropriate! |
