I spent half a day just reading through this one - you will be digging out mixing bowls, flour, sugar, butter, baking sheets, and cooling racks after about 15 minutes into this book. Well, what else can you say about the American dynasty of cooks?
The photos are beautiful - if they don't get you, nothing will!

lots of great cookie recipes. one i have been looking for is sugar cookies and this has the best one i have tried so far.

This book is just a sample of the original's cookie recipes. It has different recipes instead of the classic versions. Disappointing.
