Great gift for the computer user in your life,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Joy of Cybersex: A Creative Guide for Lovers (Paperback)
It's kinda embarassing to buy this book in a bookstore, which is why online shopping is so cool. Better yet, get this book as a gift for your friend or co-worker who's such a computer geek they would never buy it themselves. Sure to improve dating situations and sex lives.

This book covered it all -- flirting, dating, sex education, advice, and more. But it wasn't sleazy! (Well, you see, I thought from the title...) Anyway, it's totally great and has improved my sex life immensely. I highly recommend that you buy this one, fast!

Deb Levine is a pioneer of sex information on the web, and her experience, humor, tact and insight are on full display in this invaluable resource guide to an ever-shifting subject matter. the book covers a huge range of issues and experiences, taking into account both how new media changes our experience of the world, and how quickly all this has happened (and continues to happen). Beyond this, the book always focuses on practical realities, tackling its subject with both imagination and common sense. This book is great.

Translating Online to Real Life,
By Jerilyn Sue (Boulder, CO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Joy of Cybersex: A Creative Guide for Lovers (Paperback)
This book was fabulous! It was not all about "getting off" online, but how to apply the virtual medium to your real life. Listen, those folks who spend all their time online are not having a social life, right? What better way to connect the two - your online skills with your real personal life. This book will help you do it. Beware, though, it's true that some of the websites are out of date.

I was so surprised when I started reading the Joy of Cybersex. I guess I thought it would be one of those sleazy type tell-all stories. But it's not!Deb Levine is a trained sex educator who uses her wisdom and experience from working on the Web for many years to help guide us through the mass of sexual information available online. It's a great read, there's first person anecdotes and true stories, and lots of information to apply to your love life, whether you're single or in a couple. A Must Read!

So Current!,

This review is from: The Joy of Cybersex: A Creative Guide for Lovers (Paperback)
I just found this book online and had to run out and buy it immediately. Even though it came out 2 years ago or so, I think it was cutting edge - published before it's time. This is so relevant it's amazing. It has helped me navigate the internet in new ways, and also given me advice on how to help my teenage son find the "good sex stuff" online. Thank you, Deb

A terrible book,
By Brad (spokane, Wa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Joy of Cybersex: A Creative Guide for Lovers (Paperback)
I hate to write a bad review, but this book is terible. This book gives you verry little information on flirting online. I can flirt with someone in person, but I was curious about how you would do it online without the guidence of someone's appearance, voice tone ect. This book mainly lists web sites, and give's discriptions on web sites, and some of the listed sites no longer exsist. And sites on personals are easy to find online. They are every where... So If you are looking for information on how to flirt and interact with people online trash the idea of wasting your money on this book.

Getting a Divorce,
By Kathy Stewart (California, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Joy of Cybersex: A Creative Guide for Lovers (Paperback)
After buying this book and applying its lesson on the net, I am now getting a divorce from my wife of 55 years. She's old and ugly and stinks in bed, but she is a great cook.
