This is a collection of 64 little cards, a bit smaller than playing card size, wrapped in a ribbon in a little box. Each card has a delightful water color drawing by Susan Branch and some have inspirational thoughts or quotations on them. The purpose of the cards is to use them creatively, by giving them to people in a lunch bag, on a dinner plate, in the pocket of a jacket etc. They are meant to brighten the ricipient's day and would certainly do so. What an innovative idea!

These little notes are great! A little thought or thank you for friends or co-workers! I made a little template to make an envelope for these notes. I use gift wrap, magazine pages, or whatever that seems to cross my craft table to make an envelope. To me, this makes the note more special ~ and personal. Susan also has a box of "love" notes. Great for that special someone! (just a note ~ 3" x 3" is not a size recognized by the Post Office!). The set of Joy notes would make a great stocking stuffer or shower gift!

I have been a long time fan of Susan Branch. Her heart comes through in every piece that she designs and her talent in drawing is just an unbelievable gift from God. I have quite a few items. She warms your heart and obviously has a passion for her craft. When these little boxes of notes were introduced, I bought one for myself and then went back to buy the remainder of the inventory. That was in 2001. Since then I have given them as gifts to friends, loved ones and special clients. These little boxes of notes were entitled JOY, LOVE NOTES and "GIRLFRIENDS FOREVER"

There are no longer in print and I have searched for years and I have contacted Ms. Branch to please bring them back as they were probably the most valued piece of her collection. She said they would not be back, unfortunately. I have emailed again... I have searched the web and this particular box is not available. The JOY you will give others as you share these little handwritten notes on heavy cotton paper is.....priceless!
