Gary Smalley is one of the country's best known authors and speakers on family relationships. He is the author and coauthor of 16 best-selling, award-winning books along with several popular films and videos. He has spent over 30 years learning, teaching, and counseling. I first read this book about 20 years ago. It changed my life then and I had bought several copies to give away at that time. I have been wanting to read it again, so I purchased two copies on Amazon just in case I wanted to give one away again. Well, I never got to read either one of them because I had a couple of friends who wanted to just take a look at them. Neither one will give it back! It really is that good! So, today I will look for another copy to order and not tell anyone so I can keep it for myself!

So many of us look to our relationships, jobs, recreation, money or whatever to find that elusive happiness that we are all wanting. This book only confirms what we know - happiness won't be found in those places. But, it tells you where to find true, lasting joy.
