Visualization Comes True, August 30, 2000
This review is from: The Joy of Visualization: 75 Creative Ways to Enhance Your Life (Paperback)
If you have an open mind, Valerie Well's collection of visualizations will work for you. I purchased this book 7 years ago and my life changed forever after using one of her visualizations. I used the "$$$ Pool" visualization to attract much-needed finances into my life. It took about 4 months of repetitive visualizing, but not only did I get financial security, I acquired a lot more money than I asked for! Valerie's visualizations are fun and outrageous. You will love using them. If you have a deep need for something to materialize in your life, I highly recommend this book as an aid to achieving what you desire.

Wow! Amazing book about Creative Visualization!, July 20, 2010
This review is from: The Joy of Visualization: 75 Creative Ways to Enhance Your Life (Paperback)
Other than the amazing and fun-to-do visualizations this book has, this book is the only book that told me something very important I didn't know about Visualiazation, and that is PERSPECTIVE!! I used to do all of my visualization in first-person view, until I read something very important Valerie wrote in this book: "It is very, very, very important to see yourself in the visualization you've chosen. If you aren't in the picture, your subconscious won't know whom the picture is for, and it might develop the picture, but you won't be part of it. You might visualize a swimming pool brimming with money, but if you don't see YOURSELF frolicking in that money-pool, it could be your pizza delivery man or your mother-in-law who enjoys a financial windfall." This simple paragraph changed the way I visualize, for the better. Thank you Valerie!! Thank you so much!! PS - my favourite visualization is the "$$$ Pool"

Everyone should have this book, September 17, 2009
This review is from: The Joy of Visualization: 75 Creative Ways to Enhance Your Life (Paperback)
Valerie Wells has done an outstanding job writing a series of inventive, feel-good visualizations for us to enjoy. I have the book and read one or two of the visualizations every day. They always make me feel positive and happy. The book contains 75 visualizations divided into 5 major categories: 1. Goal Setting 2. Image Shining 3. Problem Solving 4. Mental and Emotional Health 5. Physical Health Each category has 15 separate visualizations in it. The imagery is stunning and positive. My personal favorites are: Negavac, Calming the Waters, Melting Fear, Place of Power, Healing Well, and Magic Wand I love creating the images she crafts through her writing and frequently think of them while at work, driving, etc. Thank you, Valerie Wells, for brightening my day. I am buying copies of it for a few good friends as holiday gifts.
