i found out about this from the Alison Krauss website. it's a wonderful surprise. u get 10 fresh bluegrass Xmas songs & a bonus dvd concert with all 10 songs (2 tracks on the cd are spoken word).

i couldnt get into the last track, a story by Charlie that ran for 16 minutes, thought it was too long. but still, that doesnt take away from the 5 star rating for this.

alot of other artists (Sting, Andrea Bocelli) release their Xmas cd & dvd separately & charge twice for their material. much thanks to Charlie & his record company for adding the dvd.

I received this album (CD and DVD) as an early Christmas gift from my wife.
Well, I am a huge fan of Charlie Daniels, love bluegrass, and despite not being a big fan of Christmas albums, this one is a winner!
My favorite Christmas songs, some excellent new ones, Charlie Daniels and some of the best pickers and singers around make this a great gift for everyone who loves the CDB, bluegrass, or both!

Wonderful Christmas CD. Evelyn Cox, one of the featured singers does a great job of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." Liked having the Christmas Story read by Daniels. Enjoyed Aaron Tippin's "Christmas Time Down South." Daniels needs to make another Christmas CD!
