In a nice departure from standard square shaping, this round chopping block from Joyce Chen is handsome enough to double as a serving tray at the table. Crafted from bamboo, which is hard yet lightweight, the board features a striped pattern with subtle variation. Rounded edges and built-in finger slots complete the design. Finished with food-safe oil, the board retains its natural color well and measures 14 inches in diameter. It should be washed by hand and can be prepped and maintained with bamboo oil, also available from Joyce Chen. --Emily Bedard
