this is by far the best wok i've ever used. comparing with other wok, this is heavier (the only setback i can think of) but sturdy and solid. the wok heats up rapidly and food cooked very evenly and fast. if you do alot of stirred fry then this wok should be considered. for serious cook only.

This is my second Excaliber surface wok. The non-stick surface in the original pan wore out after 14 years. I think it was only rated for 10 years. The warranty for the new pan surface is 25 years, so I should get good use from this pan! I like being able to use metal utensils on the surface even though I primarily use plastic spatulas.

This wok is very heavy and well made---it is very even in it's heating and cooking and is very versatile and cleans up easily---I highly recommend it!

This is a fantastic Wok! I cook everything in it. American skillets are primitive compared to this unit.

It makes cooking fried rices easy. Three cup fried rices are easy and never burns. Very easy clean up. Use a little dish soap and wash cloth. Never put in dish washer. Too big anyway.

Veggies are easy in this wok. Meat is a joy to fry. The lid takes away the mess... Use only wooden utensils. Never metal and plastics they will scratch the coating.

Amazon has a set that is a great buy and high quality bamboo... This is a must have with the wok.

I have had a lot of cheapie woks which were a waste of money. Not this wok it is a keeper. If you are a serious cook, you must have this wok.

Finally, a Wok that truly works and does just what it says it does.

The finish is perfect,not only to clean but to use. No Sticking or Rust .

This is the best non stick Wok under $150 available on the market. The coating is really tough and it heats evenly. I have been using this item for at least 2 years and have yet to scratch it or damage the coating. I wish Joyce Chen made more pans in different shapes and sizes!

Used it for almost a year now. The non-stick coating seems to be holding up quite well. Although it claims it is strong enough to use with steel utensils we still stick with plastic or silicon cookware. Lid is light but dents easily. Wok is very heavy though and is difficult to hold up with just one hand. The screws under the small handle occasionally come loose and fall out. Other than that, a joy to cook with because of its large size.

Love this wok. Use it all the time.

Solid construction. The non-stick coating has proven very durable.

I can't think of anything bad to say about it at all.

The lid is great also. I use it on other large fry pans all the time.

good sturdy product. it has a great non stick coat and the metal is very thick. The lid is a bit cheap along with the nob on the lid.

Here are the bad parts about this product
Cons:
-Very heavy base. The base itself is not an easy thing to lift.
-Lid is cheap. The lid works, but it seems like its very cheap and made of worst material they can find.

I've gotta say - 14 inches of metal is a lot heavier than I thought. Unless you're rocking huge family dinners - I recommend going with a smaller size.
