It's been long overdue for a Bobby Lyle cd and this one has been worth the wait. If you are a piano lover, this one is a must for your collection. Bobby's piano genious is impeccable. You can pat your feet to his music, dance to his music(especially on Millinium Dance...this cut is BAD), as well as relax to it. Bobby having Marcus Johnson as executive producer on this cd is an awesome hookup. Again, if you love an exceptional pianist, make this cd a part of your repertoire. Buy it!

I'm young so I'm not much of a jazz fan but I was with my mother the other day as she played the new Bobby Lyle "Joyful". It sounded more like instrumental R&B than jazz. He has one track "Caught Up" that I just had to hit repeat for. This track features Howard Hewitt and Jarrard Anthony on vocals. Take it from someone who hated jazz all her life, Bobby Lyle's "Joyful" is a must buy CD to add to your music collection!

This is a wonderful piece of work by Bobby Lyle. And, yes, it is joyful! His artistry truly shines on this CD. When I play this CD, someone always asks, "Who IS that?"

I truly enjoyed this cd. It was soulfull and and a bit funky on certain tracks. This is by far one of Lyle's best performances.

I WON TICKETS TO SEE BOBBY LYLE & FATTBURGER. BOBBY OPENED THE SHOW IT STILL RANKS AS ONE THE MOST AWESOME PERFORMANCES I'VE EVER SEEN. I MOSTLY FELT BAD FOR FATTBURGER TO HAVE TO COME ON STAGE AFTER MR. LYLE.
