About the Author

The Author is also the illustrator who is an alumnus of the Art Center College of Design.  Bobette  Stanbridge brings her many years of meditational wisdom into her Bunky Book series. Bobette was lucky enough to be raised in Los Angeles around famous entertainers because her father worked for Capitol Records and was also an agent for many years.  In stead of becoming an entertainer,  she wanted to write books to share her wisdom and bring positive thoughts and images into the people's lives so she created a cast of animal characters who communicate with a little girl named Julie through their thoughts.  She has written 8 books for this series with 2 currently on the market in book form.  Her 3rd story THE AMAZING PIANO is an audio book with original music.  Her other 2 books are also in audio format.  They should be available to purchase on Amazon soon.  The AMAZING PIANO is a story about how to work with energy to heal.

More About the Author

Bobette Stanbridge was born in Los Angeles in 1948. She attended the Art Center College of Design in the early 70's and created a line of characters that were produced onto quilts, pillows, purses and t-shirts and sold nationally in the large department stores. She has had many art projects but has been driven by the insights she had from her years of meditation that started in 1967. Her books are written to bring that information to the world. She has written a series with all the same characters that are all about the wonderful things in life. Her books encompass music, friendship, nature, animals, dreams and self esteem and a healthy life. Her books are beautifully illustrated and bring positive thoughts and images into the lives of the reader. Her first two books are A JOYFUL DAY & THE MAGIC KITE. If you love Oprah, 'The Secret', Eckhart Tolle, and Abraham-Hicks, you'll love these books.

The books our kids get in the school system are geared to teach them only what our political leaders want them to know. This books along with the other Bunky Books teach positive thoughts and it connects the readers with nature, joyful experiences and offers information about a positive self image. It also deals with friendship. The books that the large book companies publish are also chosen by the same people. They want us to produce and consume. This books along with the other Bunky books teach children to be whole and balanced.
