I love this author. She writes such wonderful stories. I find this book is great for women who are not happy with their lives. It is a great example of how we can completely change our lives by changing our own attitudes and views on life. It also makes you think about what it really important in life. I'm recommending this to all my friends.

If you're a fan of God on a Harley, you'll love this one. If you haven't read God on a Harley, buy them both! 2 of the best books I've ever read. They give you a reason to stop and think about your life, but are still very easy to read and not overly religious or philosophical in nature. The author gives you a lot to think about without preaching, and I think you'll find that reading her stories helps you realize where you have some room to grow in your own life.

As a nurse, wife, and mother this was a great book to read. Buy it if your in need of a lift!

Thank you Joan Brady. I read God on a Harley when I was single and some 10 years or so later I found Joyride, the books 'sequel' and loved it so much that I'm going to have to dig up my copy of God on a Harley and read it again. The messages are beautiful yet simple and so uplifting. My father found the first book 'God on a Harley' on my coffee table, picked it up and read it. He thought it was wonderful too; of course, he insisted that it sounded like a true story. I can't wait to share this sequel with him.

Author Joan Brady has done it again! Like GOD ON A HARLEY, she has effortlessly drawn us right into the life and experiences of one her wonderful characters! Reading JOYRIDE was like re-connecting with an old and dear friend after being out of touch for a while. JOYRIDE demonstrates just how important it is to practice those life-lessons Joe taught Christine in GOD ON A HARLEY. We are responsible for own happiness if we just listen to our hearts and stay in touch with the things that are most important in life.

JOYRIDE has the same fast, but eloquent pace that we loved in GOD ON A HARLEY...no wasted words here...the author just goes to the heart of every issue and delivers everytime. I loved both books. JOYRIDE was well titled! For me it was like a refresher course in what Joe taught Christine in GOD ON A HARLEY! And we all need to be uplifted and refocused on how good life can be if we make the effort and JOYRIDE does that in a funny, sweet, quirky and supportive way. Great story and great characters! Well worth the money and the read. Joan Brady's books make great gifts and are the kind of books you will want to read again and again at different times in your life!

Treat yourself!

Good continuation from God on a Harley. I loved both books. They both offer great advice if you feel you are run ragged and have no time. Joyride really spoke to me since it deals with the business of family life and not taking the time to really cherish your husband. Great read. It was just too short!
