Better than Nyko,
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Joytech Wii Power Station (Video Game)
I was hesitant to purchase this power station because of it's lack of customer reviews since it came out. I can only guess that the reason for this is because there's not much to say. It does what it's supposed to without (in my case) any problems. It is small and easy to attach to the Wii. Many complaints Nyko customers seemed to have regarding their power station was the fact that the contacts were touchy. Not the case here. The contacts are on the back, not the bottom, and the remote fits perfectly even with the wrist strap attached. You will not be able to charge a remote with a skin on, though. LED tells you when the remote is charged. Nunchuck holder is usless, you'd do just as well to set it on the table.
The station attaches to your Wii power cord so your power station has to be placed within about 2 feet of the Wii. Doesn't use up an extra outlet, which is a huge plus. Overall, this is definately the brand I would chose (I think there are only two brands offering a power station), especially after reading all those awful melting remote Nyko stories.

Piece of junk,
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

The battery packs don't fit into the Wii Remote battery bay... one of my battery packs broke the first time I tried to insert it.
You have to remove the Wrist Strap and the Wii Remote Jacket in order for the remote to seat in the recharging station, which is a big pain. Even then, the contacts in the recharging station are flaky at best... 4 times out of 5, the thing won't recharge because the connection got jostled. Just buy some rechargeable AA batteries and leave this piece of junk for the landfill.

Got this last november and it only took 3 weeks for it to break. It ruined one of my wii remotes, the lithium batteries get stuck in the controllers and the darn thing doesnt do what its supposed to - charge the batteries. just terrible. STAY AWAY
