Product Description

Color: Black/Silver

Be Right Back New is new. A classic returns back to the Ju-Ju-Be line with changes requested by our best of mommy fans. The ultimate hybrid everything a traditional full-featured ergo backpack is with the details and form of a beautiful fashion bag. All of Ju-Ju-Be's standard features included (i.e., a pinch of sass, a dash of technology and a huge dollop of cool style). There is a padded back panel with breathable mesh for added comfort as well as some signature Ju-Ju-Be stitching for that extra flair. The bag has ergonomically curved and padded shoulder straps and a quick grab handle. There is a cell phone pocket, a mommy pocket with diapers and wipes pocket on the front. The bag has 2 exterior insulated bottle pockets with thinsulate by 3M. Keep it warm, keep it cold, sure. The top storage pocket can hold your MP3 player, sunglasses or digital camera. The memory foam changing pad included in the back panel zipper compartment and with an 11.5" opening, it is also suitable for tablets, small laptops, magazines, etc. There is a picture pocket to keep photos handy when bragging to friends. Of course the bag has all the features a Ju-Ju-Be bag is known for: teflon so stains don't stick, AgION antimicrobial linings kills germs, mold, mildew, fungus, bacteria, and other bad stuff, metal hardware. We don't trust any of the cheap plastic stuff, light colored linings you can actually see what's inside, it's not just a big black hole in there and the bag is machine washable, air dry.

I have have owned the Ju Ju Be BFF, packabe and ppb's boxy backpack. This one is my favorite.

Here is a detailed comparison of the BFF vs. the Be Right Back 2.0 (I will refer to as the BRB for the rest of the post)-

-The backpack straps on the BRB have firmer padding and the padding extends down the strap longer. This is important for those of us who have 'thicker' shoulders or those who choose to pack the BFF's back pocket to the max.

-The BRB has a nice mesh breathable fabric against the back and underneath the straps, the BFF does not

-The BRB straps are very easily adjustable, the BFF's are not

-The BRB has a side zipper pocket that runs along the back and is easy to access (changing pad located here), the BFF has a pocket on the back and in order to access it you must move both backpack straps (changing pad located here)

-The grab handle on the BFF is slightly more padded than the grab handle on the BRB

-The insulated cup holders are deeper on the BRB

-The mommy pocket is a different shape and has less pockets but overall holds more in the BRB

-The soft lined phone pocket is wider (about 1 inch) and deeper in the BRB

-The BRB utilizes magnet closure with 1 exterior small but deep pocket, The BFF does not have any magnet closure pockets

-The BFF has a sturdy and padded bottom with metal feet, the BRB does not (this is the only thing I don't like about the BRB)

-The BFF has more pockets in the main compartment, but overall much less space in the main compartment

-The BFF can be utilized as a messenger bag or backpack, the BRB is only a backpack

-The BFF is available in more prints currently

Overall I do like the BRB much better.

This review is going to compare 3 Ju-Ju-Be bags. I'm writing a lot because I wish I had this info before I started shopping for a diaper bag. I am a first time mom so I am probably packing different than a mom that's been around the block. Also, we are cloth diapering, but not 100% of the time. We use the disposable, biodegradable inserts for the cloth covers when we want to pack light - and those things take up less room than traditional disposables. But I wanted a bag that gave me options for either type of diaper. Here is what I found. I hope reading this long post will help you save some time and return shipping fees while shopping!!!

I already had the Ju-Ju-Be BFF and Be Prepared before I bought the Be Right Back backpack. I bought them at a different store (one with an amazing return policy) so I left the tags on and debated the bags for a long time. I packed them and repacked them so many times and this is what I came up with. The BFF is too small and the Be Prepared is too big. Both are GREAT bags. This company really makes quality products with excellent organization! Let me tell you, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to quality - I will not deal with poorly made stuff breaking down on me. Straight to the donation station or trash if something sucks. This company does not suck...they manufacture very well made products with very good material, zippers, snaps, magnets, etc. Go to their website to learn about the fabric treatment process and ease of care. (My friends that bought the cheapo bags are now drooling over the Ju-Ju-Be quality.) So I loved both bags and I really wanted to keep them. But I couldn't get past the BFF just being a little too small (and I'd have to have a second bag with me)...

Let me start by saying I LOVE my old diaper bag (by Oioi.) However, it is a messanger bag style and now that I have a 2.5 yr old and a newborn on the way, I was hoping to find something with a little more room (if possible) and I really felt the need to have a diaper bag that would leave my hands free (although I didn't want a backpack so big I'd look like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle walking around.) I am pleasantly surprised with this bag! I bought it after seeing how much it fit on the Youtube video posted by Little Dudes and Divas. When I received it, it looked kind of small, so i was skeptical, and I was concerned with some of the other reviews that complained about lack of pockets and losing items in the one large compartment. But I found the number of pockets is just right. I can fit everything that was in my old bag, plus I still have plenty of room to spare. The way the pockets are configured are different than what I was used to with the messenger style bag. It took me about a week to get used to the verticle set up, but once I "re-learned" where everything was, this sucker ROCKS. It's like I barely have to go into the main compartment. I love that I can fit my portable potty seat in the back outside pocket where the changing pad also fits. The package of wipes fit lovely in the front outside pocket along with a travel pack of Wet Ones, and Clorox wipes. There's a pocket at the top where I fit 2 disposible changing pads, 2 pull-ups and 2 diapers, along with room to spare. There's a front top pocket where I keep small bags of snacks (fruit snacks, M&Ms for potty rewards, rice bars, Annie's cheddar bunnies etc.Read more ›
