4.0 out of 5 stars Back to the Mafia, May 2, 1999
This review is from: Judas Kill (Mack Bolan, The Executioner #244) (Paperback)
All right. Pendleton is finally taking the Executioner back to the thing that made him famous. The War Against the Mafia. I've been reading Mack Bolan for going on 15 years now. Read 'em all. But it is his fights with the mafia that always seem to be the most enjoyable. And it has been a while since Bolan has been sent after the Mafia like in this book. I recommend this one for any Executioner fan.

This review is from: Judas Kill (Mack Bolan, The Executioner #244) (Paperback)

Manhattan Underworld "Under Siege"

The Executioner #244 written by Rich Rainey is a combat ready, lock and load, type of mission for our man in black. However, Mack Bolan knows he cannot pull off this mission against the number of troops Victor Sienna has on his payroll and Mack also needs solid, inside intel concerning Sienna's illicit activities. Enter expert Army trained ex-hit man Nicolas Carvaggio on whom Sienna has placed a death hit. Sienna seeing Carvaggio as a Judas figure for disobeying an order now wants Nick dead, hence the Judas kill. Sienna is willing to pull out all-the-stops to accomplish this hit.

Carvaggio claims innocence in the recent killing of a Federal Justice Department agent, and both Hal Brognola and Mack Bolan are ready to listen to his claims. If true, Mack will have his insider with which to break up and destroy the Sienna empire. Several other factors and individuals can and will aid in Sienna's destruction, but eventually it comes down as much to Sienna being his own worst enemy as much as any other factor.

Another very interesting and very good read from GOLD EAGLE books.

Live Large ............ Stay Hard. As the big guy in black would say.

Semper Fi.
