Al Atkins - 'Judgement Day' (SPM),
By
This review is from: Judgement Day (Audio CD)
Originally released in 1990 - looks to be Atkin's first solo effort. Maybe not as good as - say 'Heavy Thoughts' or 'Demon Deceiver... Plus' but still a decent pick. Tunes that I liked best include "Good Lovin' Runs Deep", the seven-minute "Time After Time" and "I Got Your Letter". Personnel: Al Atkins - acoustic guitar & vocals, Paul May - guitar, Pete Emms - bass and John Anthony - drums. Certainly no disrespect - but 'Judgement Day' is likely my least favorite Al Atkins CD.

ok cd, not bad, als music is ok but he has really over done it the past 25 years by doing 4 different versions of VICTIM OF CHANGES he was in judas priest 40 years ago and then went missing from 1973 and did not resurface until around 1984, since 1984 he has just been living of judas priests coattails i cannot say he puts out good music but this is an ok release he is basically doing what dave evans ( orig ac/dc singer) does.
