4.0 out of 5 stars Judgement Day: You can't trust anyone--not even your best friend, October 6, 2010
This review is from: Judgement Day (Paperback)
Anya Nicole has done it again with this awesome sequel to Corporate Corner Boyz.

Brandon and Chris are back, and their one-time brotherly friendship is now a thing of the past. The novel begins with such intensity that keeps you glued to the pages.

On the run for attempted murder, Chris is a man on a mission, and Brandon is his intended target. Chris will do anything to survive in the streets and get even with Brandon. Along his deadly quest for revenge, Chris must face his past to realize what being a man is really about.

Brandon, is now married to Mia, yet still up to his old tricks. You may recall from Corporate Corner Boyz that that he is a womanizer and loves money. When he realizes that his wife, Mia, has a few tricks of her own, he discovers that she isn't the person she made herself out to be. Brandon sets out on a quest to find out who Mia really is. Mia has her own plan for dealing with Brandon, too.

I recommend Judgement Day. This novel is a real page turner. Find out if Chris and Brandon resolve their differences. What happens with Brandon and Mia or will they all pay on the Day of Judgment?

4.0 out of 5 stars Anya Nichole has done it again, August 10, 2010
This review is from: Judgement Day (Paperback)
Who can you trust when you cannot trust your very own family. In the sequel to Corporate Corner Boyz, Brandon and Chris are back and the relationship between them has gone from bad to worst. Chris is still mad at Brandon for not giving his share of the money from when he sold the record label.

Brandon is a married to Mia and you would think that with all the money that they have the relationship would be outstanding. But there is no money and Brandon has a love on the side named of Lynn and a baby on the way with both woman. But the relationship between Brandon and Mia was never a good one and based on lies. Who will Brandon really be in love with Mia or Lynn. And what about Mia's past will help him make the decision on which relationship to choose.

Now Chris aka Chief on the other hand is on the run from the law. Now with all the money that they made with the record label, he was never able to walk away from the streets. The streets was his home and the he made his presence know there plenty of times. But with all the money in the world Chief always knew that he was missing something in his life and that was a family. Tracy (Chief's son mother) is in a very serious relationship that is effecting the life of her and her son. But when she sees Chief again and all the love that was there between them comes flowing back to her. Will they be able to be a true family or will the relationship that Tracey is currently make this impossible?

The last dieing wish of their mother was to mend the relationship between them. Will the relationship be mended or will these brother let the feud for money bring them to a breaking point of someone losing there life.

Anya Nicole started Judgment Day with such a powerful beginning. She shows the friction between these two brothers the perfect use of her words. I love it when an author can continue the sequel where the first novel ended . A smooth transition is number one in my book. She makes sure that covers every angle. Now the ending of the book leave more to the heart's desire. I say this because it uncertain about the conclusion of the brothers. The flow of the book was very simple but in a great way. She ties together the lives of all characters in a nice basket. A basket the stores all the secrets, sex, lies, and betrayals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anya Nicole Does it Again, June 8, 2010
This review is from: Judgement Day (Paperback)
Anya Nicole is definitely an author to watch out for because she takes her craft seriously. I have seen her grow as an author. She is an excellent storyteller. Unlike most street fiction authors, Anya Nicole spends time developing sympathetic characters that you can relate to although you don't always agree with their actions. Judgement Day is an excellent read!
