Another nice album from Hood,

Just 9 months after his last album, J-Hood returns with a solid 4 star album, a notch above his "The Hood is Back" album (which is also worthy of 4 stars). This one is just Hood, no guests at all. Though it is rather short, with only 13 songs, and 6 skits, all of which are rather funny. Through the album, he disses Jadakiss & Sheek constantly and pretty hard (on a few song he gets on Sheek real bad and has 3 rather funny skits mocking Jadakiss and getting on him too), though never says anything about Styles. Of the 13 songs, you get 1 classic, 1 almost classic, 4 ok songs, and the other 7 are all good. No production credits are given but for the most part it is a good job. A nice album to have from a hungry and very talented lyricist#2 - 7.5 #3 - 8 #4 - 8 #6 - 8.5 #7 - 9 (nice beat) #9 - 10 (CLASSIC -- great beat) #10 - 9.5 (tight beat) #12 - 7.5 #13 - 8.5 (dissin Mims) #14 - 8.5 (dissing the HIGHLY OVERRATED Lil Wayne) #15 - 7 #16 - 7.5 #18 - 8.5 Joshua Hood -- b. ~1983 -- Yonkers, NY Check all my reviews
